1. The chromaticity of aluminum

The same batch of aluminum, the color should be the same. If the color difference is obvious, it is unqualified. Usually silver-white in color and uniform in texture. If the color is darker, it can be judged as recycled aluminum or scrap aluminum forgings.

2. Strength of aluminum

You can bend the part slightly by hand. If it bends with little effort, the strength is not up to par. Of course, the strength of aluminum is not as hard as possible. Aluminum has a certain toughness and is not a hard material. It can be forged into different shapes with this property.

3. The thickness of aluminum

The wall thickness of 5000 series, 6000 series and 7000 series, the thickness is 1.2-2.0mm.

4. Anodized surface

The aluminum parts have a good surface after anodizing. You can scrape the surface to see if the oxide film on the surface can be wiped clean.

5. Flatness of aluminum surface

Generally, the surface of aluminum alloy should have no depressions or protrusions, and the surface should be smooth and bright. Such aluminum alloys are easily deformed after anodizing if the surface is slightly uneven.

6. The luster of aluminum

After CNC machining, the surface of aluminum is usually glossy. If there are open air bubbles and slag on the surface, and there are obvious defects such as cracks, burrs, peeling, etc., it can be judged as secondary processing of recycled aluminum or scrap aluminum. Due to the uneven texture of this material and the disordered alloy ratio, it is easy to crack in the later stage of oxidation.
