1. General cnc processing:

2. High speed cnc processing:

It is a machining strategy that combines small radial depths of cut, high cutting speeds and feed rates; depending on the method used, high material removal rates and low Ra values can be achieved. The typical characteristics of this strategy are low cutting force, less heat transferred to the tool and workpiece, less burrs, and high dimensional accuracy of the workpiece; in high-speed machining, a faster cutting speed than ordinary machining can be used to obtain high metal removal rate and Good surface roughness.

Tool characteristics: stable (large core diameter, short cutting length), clear and well-formed chip pockets, which is conducive to good chip removal and coating.

Machine requirements: high speed CNC control, high speed, table feed speed.

Application: Semi-finishing and finishing machining of hardened steel (48-62 HRC) in mold industry with short lead time. This technique can also be applied to many other materials when the right tools and advanced processing methods are used.

3. High-performance processing:

It is a machining strategy that can achieve very high metal removal rates. The typical characteristics of this strategy are that the cutting width is 1 time of DC, and the cutting depth is 1 to 1.5 times of DC, depending on the workpiece material; in high-performance machining, the chip load is much higher than that of conventional machining, and higher metal removal rate.

Tool features: Specially developed chip removal structure on the tool chip flute, 45° tip, facet or tip arc protection, particularly smooth chip removal space, coating, with or without side fixed handle.

Machine requirements: high stability, high power requirements, high rigidity clamping system.

Application: In mass production and processing, production efficiency is the key indicator, or single-product processing that requires high metal removal rate.

4. High feed processing:

It is a high-feed machining strategy that combines full-edge cutting with small depths of cut. In high-feed machining, high metal removal rates and good surface roughness can be achieved by using faster feed rates than normal machining.

Tool features: specially developed tip, extremely short cutting length, coating.

Machine requirements: high stability, possibility of high feed speed.

Application fields: From low carbon steel to hardened steel, titanium alloy and stainless steel, it is very suitable for pretreatment before high-speed machining, and can also be used for deep cavity machining. One of the advantages of this technology is that it is very convenient for users to realize simple, safe and fast programming in the cam. Complex shapes can be easily programmed without extensive programming experience using so-called contour milling strategies.

5. Micromachining:

It is a machining strategy with a small tool diameter.

Tool features: diameter range 0.1-2.0mm, short cutting length, wide range of outer diameter reduction, high precision, electroplating.

Machine tool requirements: high precision spindle, high speed, CNC, good thermal stability, prevent spindle elongation.
